Romp & Stomp Fun Day for Children Wednesday 25 October 2017, 10am – 2pm Melbourne Museum, Carlton Gardens, Melbourne, Victoria

Romp & Stomp Fun Day for Children is an annual Children’s Week event which celebrates the value of early education, play-based experiences and diversity in early childhood development.

A group of not-for-profit early childhood organisations including , Early Childhood Management Services, Early Learning Association Australia, fka, Gowrie Victoria, Playgroup Victoria, Save the Children, Starting Out Safely, We Are Family – Responsible Pet Ownership Education Program (Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources, Victoria) along with Museum Victoria, come together each year to host Romp & Stomp Fun Day for Children, to celebrate children and families, and to highlight the importance of early childhood education.

Romp & Stomp Fun Day for Children is especially for children between the ages of 0 and 5 years of age to experience a number of fun play-based activities which are age appropriate and emphasise the different aspects of early childhood learning and development. Today Romp & Stomp Fun Day for Children is in its 15th successful year, raising the awareness of the importance of early childhood development within the community. Last year on Wednesday 26 October 2016 more than 3,000 children, parents and carers came together to enjoy Romp & Stomp.

Travel by public transport is recommended. Groups are encouraged to pre-book to avoid queues, and join MV members and save. COST: Adults $14, Children and Concession FREE
