About Romp & Stomp
Fun day for children

Romp & Stomp Fun Day for Children has been organised to celebrate Universal Children’s Day, to highlight the value of education, experiences and diversity in early childhood development. A group of not-for-profit early childhood organisations including Early Childhood Management Services, Playgroup Victoria, Kindergarten Parents Victoria, Berry Street, Gowrie Victoria, Toy Libraries Victoria, MFB, Save the Children, HIPPY and Vic Roads; together with Melbourne Museum, come together each year to develop Romp & Stomp Fun Day for Children, to celebrate children and families, and to highlight the importance of early childhood education.

Romp & Stomp Fun Day for Children is designed for children between the ages of 0 and 5 years of age who engage in a number of activities designed to emphasise the different aspects of early childhood learning.

Today Romp & Stomp Fun Day for Children is in its 10th successful year, raising the awareness of the importance of early childhood development within the community. Last year on Wednesday 26th October 2011 more than 2,000 children, parents and carers came together to celebrate Universal Children’s Day.
